I have recently purchased a new WD drive and found that the backing up of off-line network mapped drives is not available
under WDSmartWare, since the software only supports the backup of locally attached storage and internal drives.
For me this is a big problem since all my business files are synced by Microsoft’s Sync Center Utility from the File Server in my office.
I would like to recommend that future versions of the software will include this capability as I am sure it is needed to many users.
