Back up: WD smartware PRO Licence / Reinstall windows 7/8

Hello,

With my WD My passport ultra I got 3 licence for WD smartware PRO.
Now i activated the PRO option on my laptop, How can I backup this activation?

I love to “Play” with my laptop so every couple of months i reinstall Windows.

Do I lose 1 activation if I reinstall on the same device?

Or does WD server “remember” my laptop (After new windows install),
so i don’t lose a activation if i install windows again.

If you have a awnser about backing up my licence, please let me know…

Hi Dopey1937, in case you need to reinstall Windows, you can call support so they can reactivate the licence.
