Back up does not match c drive?

Would appreciate any help on this, i set  my passport up about a year ago and thought it was taking auto backups, but it isnt.

I want to use the passport to transfer files from a laptop to a new pc

the file structure on the back up (and the files) are not upto date

Any ideas what to do

…and sorry if this is obvious I am not that pc literate !

Hi r4_rick, what backup program did you used to backup your files? If you used Smartware you can explore the smartware.swsor folder inside the Passport.
