Auto limit public access to usb device

I would like to limit access to usb device to user “admin” on connect insted of having to change it everytime in web interface. Thanks.

I am using V3 firmware and after setting user access rights on my USB shares they are retained after ejecting and reconnecting so how is this not supported???

i am using latest firmware v4.01.02-41​7 the settings go away after restart or unplugging and replugging.

Hi

I have just switched on my 2 usb 3.0 drives (which have not been used for a week) and the permissions remain as originally set with Public Access off and only myself (Admin) allowed access to the drives

so perhaps yet another reason for downgrading firmware!
