Audio Sync

I am facing a problem with audio sysnc, when i played AVI files.

While playing the video file may be after 20 minutes; automatically the sound starts from the begining and the video continues to play un-interupted.

From the properties of the file i found there are 4 dropped frames.

(May be when the auido reaches one of the dropped frame it starts from the begining).

Then i had to use my PC with VLC media player to see the movie without any problem.

It’s been a while since you posted, have you tried contacting WD’s Technical Support about this? You can do so either by phone or email.

I did not know what to do. So i was waiting for the next firmware upgrade.
