I am using 2nd gen WD TV with latest firmware (NOT bad 77 firmware) and notice when playing all .mp3 and video files that there is a slight audio skip at the beginning of each file played (within the first 1 - 2 seconds of playback). These files play perfectly on all other players/computers. It is not terribly disturbing, but seems strange and on music files especially, it is not very pleasing. The rest of the file plays perfectly.
Is this usual behavior for this device? Is there a fix?
I am using the “stereo” setting on audio set up rather than the “digital” setting and am connected to my HDTV via HDMI cable.
