Im brand new to the WD Community and its great to be here because I was obtaining absolutely no help on any other sites. If got a small minute tiny issue with my passport external. It was actually gifted to me back in 2011. I got some use out of the device, but then I up and lost the connector cord. Therefore, the drive has been sitting idle in a top drawer for several years. Today, I finally decided to get to the bottom of my inquiry…can anyone direct me to the correct drive connection for my particular drive? There are no major identifying marks on the drive apart from my passport in the middle of one side, and WD in the lower right corner of the opposite side. Therefore, I don’t know the model or type of cable I should be looking for. Towards the bottom on one side of the drive there are letter/number codes of some sort…example on the drive…P/N: WDBABM0010BBK-00, also is the S/N: [[DELETED]]…can any of this info be used to determine which cord I need to purchase to get my drive in running order again? If not, are there any other routes I can take to track down the cable I’m in pursuit for? Any ideas and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Just any ordinary Micro USB cable…
