Attach External USB Drive to My Book Live Duo

I am trying to attach an 8TB My Book to my My Book Live Duo but it doesn’t show up as a new share.

WD Quickview sees the drive, however. I think I may have to send it back if there isn’t a solution.

FYI, I connected a Sandisk Cruzer and it worked fine. Help please?

Hi Aremel,

Try to reformat the My Book in the NTFS file system and check if the issue still persist.

NOTE: Formatting is data destructive and cannot be undone.

I already did. I just shipped the drive back and a new 4TB My Passport arrived in the mail, so I will check that out shortly.
