Assigning a static ip address to myboollive problem

hi,

i’m having trouble with my mybooklive after i assign a static ip address to it.

i have a share on the device mapped to my computer and after i set a static ip address to the mybooklive i cannot access the shares on it.

even after i assign a static ip address to it i cannot access it by typing \mybooklive into the search in windows 7

any help would be appreciated :slight_smile:

After setting the IP on the MBL, you probably will need to unmap the drive, reboot your computer, and then re-map it.
