Asking for pass word

Some how a folder that I created on My Cloud Home is asking for a pass word when I try to access it using a local connection. It asks for network credentials. I have tried every pass word that I have ever used and none work. Will the 4 sec reset clear the pass word needed? I don’t want to do a reset than find out I created more work then I wanted to.
