Please i need to play Arabic subtitles on my wdtv gin 1 but i can’t please tell me what to do
First of all: post in the WDTV 1 section of this forum.
I tried the following and it works. I have WD TV Gen 2, though.
To convert subtitle files encoded in a different format, open the file with Notepad and do a Save As with the
following parameters: File Type—All Files and Encoding—UTF-8.

You need to change the format of the subtitle.
Here is how. I had a problem with Korean subtitle, but after changing the format subtitl appears correctly.
