I’d recommend to avoid such proprietary formats owned by restrictive corporations such like Apple. Corporations like Apple often protect their codecs, and third party player manufacturers cannot implement them correctly or completely. The de-facto-standard for lossless audio is Flac, and WD says that it is supported.
