I am looking to replace my TViX with the WD Live ane one of the things I really love is the ability to “jump to” a certain time on AVi/MKV files. I don’t see a way to do it on the WD Live…is there one? Thanks!
I pulled this from the WD TV live website quick tips:
How to use MKV chapters
During video playback, if an MKV being played has chapters, press the Option button and select the rightmost icon (the one that has a bunch of litle squares) in the options menu. You can then choose a chapter to play.

No. You can fast forward / reverse x2 to x16 or jump in 10 minute intervals. You can add chapters to mkv files but not to avi.
I believe WD are planning on introducing a “Jump To Time” feature but no word on when that will be done.
My TViX has it and it’s invaluable. I hope WD puts that in soon! Thanks for the replies.

We are looking into this request. We may consider implementing video jump feature that allows user to jump to a specific time.
