Any ideas for Win 8 driver for old 1TB GreenDrive?

I am having trouble locating an updated Windows 8 driver for my 1TB SATA Green Drive GD1000EU.  It’s well out of warranty, so I can’t even register the product here to try and get support.  The drive actually works but weird things happen - like it stops being recognized by File Backup - sometimes - and you know how annoying intermittent problems can be.  So I figured I should try and locate the latest driver to see if that smoothes out my periodic issues.  But I can’t find one on this web site.

Any ideas from the community?

Try the physical connections first, use diff cable or ports and check if that will fix the issue, Also try going to device  manager and check if you see yellow triangle.
