Not only shares can’t seen under Network devices, here’s another bug…

If you set a password to protect the Twonky interface you get a 401 error in the

MyCloud interface and can’t update the database anymore.

It keeps saying “updating database” but disk is idle.

Please forward to WD Support and ask kindly to make asap a new firmware so I can access

the drive under my network. Don’t they test their new firmwares???

Not surprised at all that happened.  

You set a password on the Twonky Manager (which WD doesn’t influence) so the WD UI can’t have access to what is now basically secured info.

The only “fix” I think would be to substitute out that 401 with a “Not Available” message.

No…  But I would say the previous firmware had the bug if the security wasn’t being enforced… :wink:
