ANNOUNCEMENT: MyCloud.com & Support Resources Connectivity Issue

WD Community,

Users have reported connectivity issues to mycloud.com and wdc.com domains that may be related to ISP name resolution issues.

Services that may be affected are:

SOLUTIONS:

  1. Changing your routers DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 can resolve ISP related name resolution issues.

  2. Click How to set up a My Cloud device using the Dashboard as an alternate to My Cloud when setting up new devices.

  3. Enter wd2go.com in your browser instead of MyCloud.com to access content remotely using the web browser.

  4. Use the Knowledge Base search feature on https://support.wdc.com/ if you are receiving SQL Server connectivity errors in your browser.
