Android WD 2go connect to 2tb MBL

I have a closed network with the MBLconnected.  No internet connection.  I have setup shares and can access the MBL from a computer but when I try to connect the android phones, connection failes.  The phones have WD 2go loaded and can “see” the MBL and prompt me to log in with a user, just am told the account is not configured for remote access.

Can any of this be setup with out the internet being present or is there so much hidden phone home stuff that you have to have it for the connections?

You need to have internet access in order for the wd2go app to work.

thanks… although more accuratly, you need internet access to setup wd2go.  Once it is setup, it works once back off the internet… well so far.
