Android phone sees My Passport Wireless Pro but My Cloud app does not connect

My Passport Wireless Pro recently suffered a failure with all blue lights flashing. I have reformatted the drive and used the Acronis Wipe tool to wipe the drive and re-established it via WD Dashboard. I am getting a SMART error but I can access the drive by cable from the computer and now, an SD card inserted into the slot backs up.

But … My Cloud on Android has stopped working (used to work but no more).

Disk firmware is up to date.

Android phone is a Lenovo P2 with v6 installed.

Phone’s wifi can see both 2.4 and 5 signals and can connect to both.

Chrome on Android will allow connection via IP address and will display Dashboard.

Dashboard will report on status of the drive and reports no problems apart from the SMART read error.

My Cloud on Android tries to connect, fails and takes me to the screen with Steps 1, 2 & 3.

My Cloud on Android has been removed and reinstalled.

I’ve tried to connect both with and without Dashboard running in Chrome on Android phone.

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Regards
