Altering the standard theme?

Hi, 

is there any way to alter the standard theme ? I am using custom XML sheets without the annoying backdrops - but what is still remaining is, that once I browse through the movies, the background get’s dimmed. 

Is there a way to alter the theme, so it does not get black, but instead show the normal background ?

Locate this XML …  rv_browse_common_widgets_new.xml

edit it and delete this line …

<image image=“image/video_encoding_bg.png” x=“0” y=“0” w=“1280” h=“720” bg=“1” disable=“@@disable-overlay”/>

also locate this XML …  rv_gallery_browse_page.xml

edit it and delete this line …

<image image=“image/Gallery/video_browse_gallery_overlay.png” x=“0” y=“0” w=“1280” h=“720” bg=“1”/>

Cool ! Many thanks ! Editing XML files and so on is not a problem - but as a noob with the WD - could you give me some hint, how I can access this file on the WD Box ?

Sure, it’s for the Hub… but the SMP use’s the same ones.
