Adding new photo to existing album

How do I add a new photo to an existing album? When doing this the new photo(s) are added, but the exiting photos in the album are gone.

Hello there,

Just to verify, on what app does this happen, on the mobile app or desktop app? If its on the mobile app try to check if the same thing happen on a different mobile device.
