I am looking into getting My Cloud Pro Series PR4100 to supplement my other WD My Cloud Storage. But before I do, I have a very important (to me) question. Can drive(s) attached to the USB 3 ports be added into the RAID. For example if I attach another 4 disks (external enclosure [not my cloud - just basic USB enclosure that shows the 4 disks as separate drives]), could I add those 4 disks to the internal 4 drives to have a pool of 8 drives for a RAID 5 or RAID 10?

It is not possible to do, external raid setup cannot be added with the internal raid setup of My cloud device.
