Adding existing Time Machine backup to My Cloud

Is it possible to add an existing Time Machine backup from a USB hard drive to my new My Cloud hard drive and then have the Time Machine archiving continue from that point on? Thank you.

You can try moving the contents of the time machine folder onto the time machine folder of the mycloud.  Can’t

guarantee it will work though.
