I have an EX4100 with two 4tb hard drives set up as spanning.
Can i add a 3rd drive to this Spanning without losing data?

Do you want to add this third drive in existing volume?
If you want to add 3rd drive in existing volume, you need to format all three drives and then create it under same volume.
However, you can add this 3rd drive under another volume (you can say “2nd Volume”), and here there is no need to format drives or without losing any data.
