Acronis Backup bad sector error

Trying to make a backup using Acronis True Image WD edition build 5962

Every time near the end it pops up a message saying it could not read a sector.

I tried running it from windows and from boot media, same result.

I can press “ignore”, but its not just one, it continues to spit more messages about unreadable sectors.

I ran chkdsk /r and scanned for errors, but chkdsk found none.

I don’t know why its spitting those errors.

what more can i do to make it run smoothly?

Internal Info:

Windows has finished checking your disk.
Please wait while your computer restarts.

Try running a diagnostic on the source drive using WD DLG to verify if the drive has any bad sectors.

The only option this tool gives is attempt to retrieve data from the damaged sectors. And warns to make a backup first.

So back to my first problem of making a backup.
