Is this possible? If so, is someone kind enough to provide some workflow, or a link to a way to make this happen? I’d like to be able to connect to the drive from my work so I can watch movies and perform some maintenance during downtime. Thanks in advance.
I use Verizon Fios, off of their supplied router and have the WD Live Hub hardwired to it.
What type of maintenance?
Not aware of a configuration to allow playing files from outside the LAN

You could run PlayOn on a PC and using their Local Media option select the Hub folders as a source. PlayOn will allow you to coneect to the PC using an android or, yes even, an Apple device. There’s an app for it.
