Accessing all space on my EX2

I have a Gen 1 MyCloud EX2 that I am planning to use as a local media server after it goes “off-line” in April. I’ve installed two 320Gb HDDs and formatted them as JBOD. Total disk space listed on the dashboard home page, is 621 GB (as expected). But I can only utilize 310GB (ie only one of the drives).

Anybody know what’s going on? I’m guessing its something to do with the Public folder being on Volume 1 (disk 1?) only and not on Volume 2 (disk 2)?

Have you tried creating another share? I bet it gives you a choice of which volume. (hint: Pick volume 2 :slight_smile: )

Yes, I figured that out. I just assumed that “JBOD” would do what I wanted but I needed to use “Spanning”.
