How can I access documents on MyCloud directly from Word, Excel etc. from a Remote PC ?

Map the My Cloud to your PC. Then access your files like any other disk.

You can’t do remote mapping any more, remember… That was taken away with the OS3 firmware ‘upgrade’…

One method is to use the WD My Cloud Desktop program to access the remote My Cloud then open the MS Office document from within the WD Desktop program, the appropriate MS Office program should open the file and allow you to edit/save the file.
