There is much in the adverts at the moment about access to MyBook network drives from Apple and Android apps and yet these do not seem to include the MyBook world edition.
When will there be a firmware update or some such to make this possible.
Hi, those adverts are only for the my book live/live duo. Difficult to know if that feature will be available in the future.
My biggest issue is that wd can write an app for those devices and yet not for mine. I can download a third party FTP client to get to mine so surely it is easy for wd to extend the existing app to the world edition or write a separate app for the world edition, the wd photos app can see my drive so it is clearly possible.
