I have a 6tb G-drive that I usually use with my Imac. I hooked it up to my laptop for the firt time and then it stopped working. When connecting it to any mac I get a message that it’s not readable by this computer. I’ve tried disk utility, it will not mount, first aid did nothing.
For some reason I was able to get it to mount a single time after repeatedly trying and I was able to backup some of my files but not all. the transfer was exceptionally slow, about 1 gb an hour. Since that time I have been unable to get it to mount again.
I really need to get some files off of this thing before I trash it. Advice?
