I have a faulty WD drive that takes like 2 hours to boot up systems and after booting it takes another hours to check/work on the drive through moving around the systems.
Any software i try to use to help out takes ages to come up. The drive partition has disappeared but when clicked on the disk management it comes up after several hours with 1. Disk partition capacity 2. Unallocated space 3. Do you want to initialize the disk.I tried using Easeaus software but when i chose the complete recovery option — the hdd capacity reduces to 116mb but when i chose the partition recovery the total disk capacity displays 500GB and then i started the scanning… because of the slowness of the HDD it doesn’t change a thing even after 6 hours …
