404 Not Found (file not found) error message when attempting to share content via email links

Hi all,

I’m attempting to share files via the email URL feature on my WD My Cloud but unfortunately I can’t seem to get it to work, either locally or remotely. I get error messages constantly when using either Google Chrome Or Firefox.

I have no problem accessing and downloading/streaming from My Cloud with the mobile apps or website so don’t know where to go from here.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know someone having the same problem. i wonder if it’s related to the last update?

I really hope it is and a simple fix from WD is all that’s needed…

Just a bummer that I’ve not had it long and the first time I’ve had a real chance to try using the share via email function and it doesn’t work. 

At least I’m not alone :confounded:

Has this been resolved? I’m also have the same problem now.  I was sure it worked fine about a month ago.  But now it is not working.
