my HDD doent show up in the MY COMPUTER on my computer. it does however shows up in the device manager and disk management. i have unistalled and reinstalled and tried to update the driver with no love. my computer runs Windows 7. the light on the front is flashing kind of fast dont know if that helps any ideas?
Was this a drive that came formatted for Mac or Windows? Is the drive still factory format and is your Windows 7 64 or 32 bit? Try a port on the back of your PC and don’t use a hub. Also try plugging directly into the wall instead of a surge protector.
