3TB Deskstar NAS - partition whole drive

Just got around to installing my 3TB Deskstar NAS as a second drive. Windows 10 and EaseUS both recognize it as unallocated space, but will only set it up as two partitions: 2048 GB and 746 GB. I thought Win 10 had eliminated the 2.2 TB limit - am I confusing something else with the current situation? What do I need to do to assign the whole drive as a single partition? Thank you for you assistance.

Windows 7,8,10 support hard drives greater than 2TB as long as they are GPT (GUID) Partitioned.

Sounds like the partitions you’re creating are MBR … which only supports up to 2TB.
