2 Questions for new user: Read only access & Web interface

Hello 

Hope you can help new use here looking for some help. 

I have the My Cloud and love the sharing and user options. But I have a strange thing with user with read only access can still email the whole file which has a download option on the mobile app which works and lets them download the whole file. Which is strange if you only want the person to have read only access. this defets the object?

If there is a work around I have missed thank you in advance.

Question 2: with the web login i’m right in thinking that the web interface does not have a media streaming option?

Depends on which web interface you’re talking about.

The primary management UI:  No streaming option.

The Twonky Media Server UI:  Yes, several streaming options (direct or Beaming.)

Where would I find the The Twonky Media Server UI?  This is new to me.

I would suggest you download and familiarize yourself with the user’s manual.

This is explained on page 98 of the English version of the manual.
