First check if it showing in BIOS or not. If it is not showing on your BIOS then you can try below options as a solution for this issue:

  1. Establish a connection between another system and USB Data Line to verify whether it is broken or not.
  2. Make sure the system and motherboard are compatible with each other
  3. Verify whether the USB interface voltage is up to the mark or not
  4. Use Disk Management to unhide the drive
  5. Ensure USB is enabled in Operating System as well as in BIOS.

However, if it is not showing in BIOS as well then the possible reasons for such issues are:

  1. Faulty SATA cable
  2. When Windows unable to find ATA device
  3. When HDD included in storage space
  4. When SATA driver is not installed or corrupted
  5. When new HDD perceived as foreign disk

Further, I suggest you to check the below link and follow the shared methods to resolve the issue: https://appuals.com/fix-new-hard-drive-not-showing-up-in-disk-management/

Hope it will help.
