Hi all I bought WD live one week ago with the 1.2.21 fw and the MTS/M2TS file was ok . Yesterday I performed the upgrade at 1.4.17 fw and now I have the same problem of MTS/M2TS file. I had to roll back at 1.3.49 because the 1.4.10 have the same problem . I hope that WD solve as soon this problem
My original Sony camcorder m2ts files show this behaviour, too. However, if I process them with Cyberlink Powerdirector, everything will be fine. There a so many ‘dialects’ of m2ts AVCHD files, I really doubt that a hardware player will ever be able to read them all, flawlessly. In many cases, these stuttering problems can be solved by remuxing the files. Most camcorders generate a transport stream which is good for linear playback and recording to a hard disk or SD card.
