Why do I keep having to rebuild server for PS3

Can anyone tell me a way around the continuous problem I’m having with the PS3.

Every so often the PS3 will only see a handfull of the content - which can only be fixed by rebuiling the server via dashboard.

Its getting annoying now - why does it keep happening?

What firmware revision on the My Book Live?

There’s seem to be happening some sort of connection drop between the two.
