Where to find data? Please help

Hi guys,

I just got a WD Elements Portable Harddrive for my Mac.

I dragged my ‘Documents’ from one Finder window, into ‘Elements’ in another Finder window.

Now it seems to be gone from my Mac entirely!?

This is my WHOLE life can somebudy PLEASE help me retrieve it?

Hi anthonykirwan, welcome to the WD Community. Have you tried to click the repair option on the Disk Utility? Make sure that the Elements is connected directly to the Mac, avoid using extension USB cables or USB hubs. Check the link below for more information.
