I have had my WDTV for a while now with zero issues. On my last vacation it started to have some weird problems. First off the longer you watched a television program (captured with a dvr) the sound wouldn’t link up with the video. It would get as far as 2-3 seconds behind. Very frustrating!! Then towards the end of the vacation it was slowly not recognizing the top selections on the hard drive. I would get a “file not supported” error when they have all worked before. It was actually moving down the list alphabetically. The first day it was the As… Then Bi’s and Co’s.
any ideas as to whats wrong? Its a western digital 1tb hd. I tried the HD on my computer and everything seems to work fine.
I have never updated the firmware. Is my WDTV just broke?
