WD Green with permanent access noise in idle 3

Hello,

due to the fact that the first problem report about the noise problem in idle

was posted in 2009 and several following threads regarding that problem

were ignored and then closed by the WD staff here, I want here to ask again If there’s something new regarding the prob.

I have been using a 2TB WD Green for 2 and a half years now, and I haven’t found any problems.
