For some reason this drive has a really large SATA well where it connects. This causes the SATA cable to not engage or snap onto the connector; it just kind of loosely sits on it. If I apply any force to the cable, it pops off. My PC isn’t physically active or does jumping jacks, but I like the idea that it has no chance of falling off, ever.
I’ve tried two different SATA cables and they both do not firmly seat or snap onto the connector. Is there a particular brand I should be looking for, or do I just need to use my baby arms to mash the connector on harder?
