Upgrade strategy for RAID 1?

What is the recommended step-by-step upgrade procedure? From  other sources in the Internet it probably be like:

  1. Replace the first disk.
  2. Rebuild volume and wait until completion.
  3. Replace the second disk.
  4. Rebuild the volume again and wait until completion.
  5. Expand the volume to fill the available space.

The problem is I couldn’t find any description in the manual nor the UI to “expand the volume” as described in the final step.

if you can copy the contents from your device to another hard drive would be better

than create the raid 1 from scratch… its the safer method   i dont think that is another easy way

There is also a MySQL database in /mnt/hd_a4/.@database and I’m planning to use the drive as a (lightweight) database server as well. Not sure what else I need to copy over.

I reckon that there is no official method for upgrading the drives inside with the EX2’s RAID 1 setup?
