Server was not found

Good Day.

I have problem with server recovery… I found topic in this section and tried to apply these settings…

but was unable to succeed …

I have found ip assign by DHCP server to DX4000… Server is in Recovery mode… But from computer i m continuously getting error of not founding server…

Any help…

As always make sure your download is good with a MD5 hash checker.

Desktop and server are on the same subnet?

Any firewall software running on the desktop

I have Checked everything… 

Server and Client are both on same network…

Windows own firewall is running on client… no other firewall.

I have to ask :slight_smile: Why are you running recovery to start with?  As in if a power surge broke the nic, recovery probably will not work.

You did check the hash of the download?  You are mounting the iso as a drive, you did not burn a DVD?

Set the desktop to get an ip (dhcp) and conect it directly to the server.no switch, hub, or router, just direct.  Reboot both and try again.  It is always a bad idea to power of the DX, but if it is broke and not getting any better you do not have much choice do you.
