Problem playing AVCHD M2TS files from Canon camcorder

I was hoping the new firmware would fix this ongoing problem but the video playback is still choppy then quits when playing from HDD or USB on the Live hub.  Has anyone had better luck than I have?  Different camera recording settings? Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.

What if you convert the file? The AC3 audio is the first issue in here… Also AVC works well as AVI for the Hub, not M2TS…

Are you suggesting converting to AVI format?  I have not tried that yet but that pretty much prevents you from pulling the memory card out of the camcorder and playing it back for everyone on the WD Hub without a fair amount of post processing.  I think most people with a HD camcorder would like to archive their video on the WD internal HDD and go back to recording video. - Appreciate your reply and suggestions.

I just buy a WD Live TV Hub since the last firmware said the playback problem was solved but it not the case for my AVCHD M2TS files from Sony Camcorder.

Not sure if I will keep the unit…

The thing is that this problem was not present in older firmwares :frowning:
