Hi there,
I have had my player for around 18 months now and tonight it would not turn on. At first I thought it was the remote, however a change of batteries had no effect. I then tried a different power point and still nothing.
Has my player died?
Does this mean I need to buy a new player?

any of the front LED lights … lighting up ?
plugged into the wall power socket ? (ie. not a powerstrip)
you’re using the correct power adaptor ?

No light on the front at all.
I did try the wall power socket
Yes I am using the correct power adaptor - do you think I might just need a new adaptor?

i would contact WD support to see if they can help.

they *may* replace it for you … (just being optimistic, not promising anything) worth contacting them to find out
