WDMyCloud already has PHP5 serving the WD DashBoard, it’s a mod_php module via Apache2. You can use it to run simple PHP scripts but that’s about it. Except curl, sqlite and json, there’s no other extra modules and on the V4 firmware, you can’t simply install modules without first compiling them with a 64K page size memory patch. You can get the modules built by users here but be prepared to make lots of changes to both Apache2 and PHP5 or you’ll break the WD Dashboard. Warranty voids may include.
