yes you need to extract his theme in the hidden folder on the hub. But then you need to turn on the hub and go to settings-appearance and apply the new theme.

anybody have an idea how to get rid of the xml like in the demo video in jo’s theme? because it’s not working here i have still to put a xml to display the sheet ;/

We need to make progress on displaying an icon/pictures for the folders (instead of displaying only thumbnail and black picture above). By ‘we’, I mean you  - people who are much smarter than I. :smiley:

i updated to latest firmware and sheets are not working now can anyone else get these sheets to work on latest firmware

Additionally, does updating firmware delete one’s movies and/or themes?

No, updating the firmware doesn’t delete anything, although you may have to rest some of your settings after an update.  However, if you are using one of the themes here you should stay away from the latest firmware 2.05.08, especially if it’s one of the heavily modified themes.

But is there a way to make good looking folder icons? What is best with your theme - jpg or png or
? Is there a trick to make them crisp?

PNG will always be better quality

because they are not compressed as much as jpg 
 but they are bigger in file size which can effect navigation speed.

as for ‘crisp’ 
 if you’re not satisfied with ‘clarity’ of the pictures


you could try to edit the template and apply the ‘sharpen’ filter in TViXie or Thumbgen Designer to try to improve the ‘Sharpness’.

But, make sure you only apply it to “Pictures” 
 because im fairly sure ‘Text’ will NOT look good ‘Sharpened’.

I want the folder.jpg/png that you see on a folder before you ‘enter’ and sees your moviesheet. Your sheet looks perfect


I have a lot of tv-series in folders (season 1
 season 2 and so on) and they look a little unsharp. And if I use a .png it wont show

Yep, ive tried just about everything for ‘Folder’ picture quality,

‘Folder’ picture quality seems to be a ‘Locked Resolution’  ie. the more you enlarge it, the worse it looks.

Sorry, i have no answers,  it’s out of my control 
  it’s a firmware related  thing.

Hey Joey, 1st of all thx for this superb theme.

I have successfully combined urs aeon home theme with this theme,

works perfectly & looks wonderful.

I wanted to modify ur template can u plz guide me.

Also if I copy icons from other template will it work on ur template.

for templates you will want to use ThumbGen Designer

As long as you move the image file into the directory of the template you are modifying you can alter how you want.

I to altered his template slightly. You can check mine out here
