Exif data, filename and folder names

Hi

Enjoying my new MyCloud, however note that when using the wd photo app on iPhone, the upload process changes the filename, and removes stuff like location info and file date. Will this be fixed, or is there a recommended workaround?

Also note the ‘uploaded’ and ‘mirrored’ folders in the default folder structure. Manual makes ref to Twonky, but little else- What are these for?

The only work round that I know of is to use an android device.

My workaround is to sync phone to dropbox and then sync dropbox to WD NAS.
