New 3TB Mybook live with updated firmware. I’ve activated NFS access and the drive can be brought out of sleep by accessing the NFS mount from a networked PC (presumably because the drive supports wake-on-LAN).
My problem is that the WD DLNA server and dashboard (apache) are not restarted as the drive wakes.
It’s trivial enough to restart apache (via the init.d script) – but I can’t for the life of me find what starts the WD DNLA server. Can anybody help?
Also: is there any way to fine-tune the WD DNLA server (in the way the Twonky server was apparently available on port 9000)? It refuses to stream flac files (which it should, according to the documentation) – I presume this is a settings issue.
As a sideline, I notice that /tmp on the drive gets full very quickly – presumably not very healthy:
