An important feature for WDTV is Spotify. However, the interface is very basic to say the least… Compared with windows, android, or IOS the WD interface is a joke really. We need at least the radio option.
There was a thread about this, but it was never picked up by WDTV sadly enough…

Application updates for the WD TV family are provided by the application provider, and is not controlled by WD. This is the reason as to why some applications like Netflix have been updated without updating the firmware of a WD TV device. As such, an application update for Spotify will be automatically provided if and when the Spotify team deploys an update for WD TV devices.
